Almost Human ships handcrafted perfumes from Romania to customers within the EU and worldwide. All orders are processed in the order they are received, and shipping times may vary depending on destination and carrier availability.
Processing time
Orders are typically prepared and handed over to the courier within 2–5 business days. During high-volume periods or product releases, processing may take slightly longer.
Shipping methods and carriers
We ship through major international carriers including DHL, FedEx, UPS, and DPD. The carrier used for your order will depend on your location and the available service options. Tracking information will be provided as soon as the shipment is dispatched.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may be affected by customs processing, local postal service conditions, or unforeseen delays beyond our control.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your address and the chosen shipping method. For orders shipped outside the European Union, shipping is provided under Delivered At Place (DAP) terms. This means import duties, taxes, and any carrier handling or brokerage fees are not included in the shipping price and may be charged by the carrier upon delivery.
Customs, duties, and taxes
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or additional fees required by their country’s regulations. These charges vary and are not controlled by Almost Human. If customs authorities require additional information, we will assist where possible.
For orders shipped to the United States, import duties or taxes may apply regardless of order value depending on current U.S. import regulations.
For orders shipped to Canada, customs duties and provincial taxes (GST/HST/PST) may apply based on the product classification and the destination province. Carriers may also apply a customs processing or clearance fee.
Failed deliveries
If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, refusal to pay customs fees, or failed delivery attempts, the customer is responsible for the cost of reshipping the package. Shipping fees from the original order are non-refundable.
Damaged or lost shipments
If your order arrives damaged, notify us within 48 hours with photos at hello@almosthuman.store. We will arrange a replacement or refund depending on the situation.
If a shipment is lost in transit, we will open an investigation with the carrier. Resolution may take several days depending on the carrier’s procedures.
